Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'll Never Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week they post a new topic that the participants come up with a top ten list for.
This week topic is: Top Ten Books I Will Probably Never Read

I'm probably going to make a lot of people a bit disappointed with my choices... :'D;; Heh heh...

I've read the first book not too long ago. There was nothing really wrong with the actual story (I enjoyed it, actually!!) but I just don't like the writing style. :( I feel bad cause a lot of people seem to love her books. I also read Shiver but, again, I couldn't get into it because of the writing style...

I tried to read this book but, after reading the first couple chapters, I realized it wasn't something for me. >: I've heard how it seemed unrealistic anyhow (ignoring the alien side of the story...) because the MC is busy doing so many things- schoolwork, after school groups, etc.- that it just doesn't seem possible that she would have time to do much of anything really.

The covers are really pretty though~!!

This is self-explanatory, I think...

I'm not quite sure I feel comfortable with reading a book where a solitary female is living in a male-dominated community...

I've read Avalon but, even though there are differences in comparison, this felt too much like Firefly to where it almost felt like fan fiction. It has awesome potential, though, don't get me wrong! It just wasn't for me. c:

I just had to find out about this series after I read the book, Fallen by Lauren Kate, and I didn't really care much about the book. It discouraged me from wanting to read books involving fallen angels. Later on, though, I discovered that I wasn't missing that much...

Ehhhhhhhhh...

I did, however, did enjoy her book 'Ghost House' so I would highly recommend grabbing that book at least!

I tried reading the book when I was younger (in high school, I believe), but it just wasn't for me. >:

I remember this series back in 2008. In all honesty, this caught my eye mostly because of the Masquerade book cover (I'm a sucker for masquerades...) and I discovered that there was a book before it. There were... many editing errors that, sadly, discouraged me from reading any further. I might read it in the near future but since there's so many books in the series now, I don't really see it happening...

I decided to add these despite having already read these. This was back before I realized that 'DNF'ing was a thing. It's a unique concept but I wouldn't really recommend this book. >: At the least it wasn't for me... I hope the movie is much better!! :D

Phew! That took longer than expected. @u@

I want to add that all these books I've listed here are my opinion and do not reflect Amber's opinion. I doubt that this will be an issue but just in case! ;u;

Have a nice week, everyone! <3333
