Surprise Kindle Giveaway!

Hello lovelies!

So I have been blogging for over a year now and I realised yesterday how much I truly love being in the book community. When I started this blog I was in a pretty bad place in my life and I honestly believe that discovering my love of reading again and sharing my opinions and thoughts with whoever will listen helped me get through that rough patch.

Every single author and reader I've met and talked to has been beyond lovely and I have made some amazing friends here. I truly feel so lucky. I'm in some amazing street teams of authors that care about their readers and like to interact with them on a more personal level.
Without the wonderful bookish world how would I have found Tarryn Fisher or Jennifer Armentrout or Colleen Hoover or Marie Rutkoski, or any of the other amazing authors I've had the pleasure of coming across? Their words and stories and characters get me through the worst times in my life, and also help me appreciate the best and for that I am immensely grateful.

I made a group called #GiftABook on Facebook and the reception it got from the community was overwhelming, and still to this day it's going strong! Every morning I check the group and see a ton more giveaways from fellow readers and authors alike offering books to those who maybe need a little pick-me-up or someone who has been dying to read a book but just didn't have the funds. The positive energy in my group is so amazing and I adore every single member.
I also have another group, The Book Owls, where we all chat about books and our lives and so on. Again, an amazing group of people that I absolutely love talking to every day.

Finally, and this is the thing I am always so grateful for, I found my best friend within the book community. The one soul that understand every single thing happening in my life, the one person that's been there when no one else was and someone who doesn't think me weird when I fangirl all over a fictional character. I love you, Nicole. Like a lot. Even when you say things that creep me out a tad... I still love you. (She also has a blog!)
