Happy Release Day: A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray

A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray
Publication Date: 4th November 2014 (Today, yay!)
Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their radical scientific achievements. Their most astonishing invention: the Firebird, which allows users to jump into parallel universes, some vastly altered from our own. But when Marguerite’s father is murdered, the killer—her parent’s handsome and enigmatic assistant Paul—escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.
Marguerite can’t let the man who destroyed her family go free, and she races after Paul through different universes, where their lives entangle in increasingly familiar ways. With each encounter she begins to question Paul’s guilt—and her own heart. Soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is more sinister than she ever could have imagined.
A Thousand Pieces of You explores a reality where we witness the countless other lives we might lead in an amazingly intricate multiverse, and ask whether, amid infinite possibilities, one love can endure.
I am really looking forward to this one. I am going to the BD to order this one as soon as I write this post! In the mean time I'll give you guys some links you can use to buy this super pretty book:

Have any of you read this one yet? :)

About The Author

R.C. Lewis teaches math to teenagers—sometimes in sign language, sometimes not—so whether she’s a science geek or a bookworm depends on when you look. That may explain why her characters don’t like to be pigeonholed. Coincidentally, R.C. enjoys reading about quantum physics and the identity issues of photons.

About The Author

Sara Raasch has known she was destined for bookish things since the age of five, when her friends had a lemonade stand and she tagged along to sell her hand-drawn picture books too. Not much has changed since then -- her friends still cock concerned eyebrows when she attempts to draw things and her enthusiasm for the written word still drives her to extreme measures. Her debut YA fantasy, SNOW LIKE ASHES, is coming out Fall 2014 from Balzer + Bray. It does not feature her hand-drawn pictures. She is represented by Charlotte Sheedy Literary.

Sometimes the past comes back to haunt you—in the most heartbreakingly beautiful way. Gavin’s story. I fell in love hard and fast as lightning. As quick as she came into my world she was gone. Demi said she has secrets—that she’s done horrible things. Who hasn’t? I’m not going to let the past determine our future. Sometimes love lays forever at your feet and sometimes you need to fight for it. Demi is worth every damn battle we’ll have to go through. I’d burn down the world just to keep her safe. And, after what I’ve discovered, I just might have to. All I need with Demi is one more night to convince her we’re worth it. And that one night is going to cost me everything.

Happy Release Day! The Jewel by Amy Ewing

The Jewel (The Lone City #1) by Amy Ewing
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release date: 2nd September 2014
The Jewel means wealth. The Jewel means beauty. The Jewel means royalty. But for girls like Violet, the Jewel means servitude. Not just any kind of servitude. Violet, born and raised in the Marsh, has been trained as a surrogate for the royalty—because in the Jewel the only thing more important than opulence is offspring.
Purchased at the surrogacy auction by the Duchess of the Lake and greeted with a slap to the face, Violet (now known only as #197) quickly learns of the brutal truths that lie beneath the Jewel’s glittering facade: the cruelty, backstabbing, and hidden violence that have become the royal way of life.
Violet must accept the ugly realities of her existence... and try to stay alive. But then a forbidden romance erupts between Violet and a handsome gentleman hired as a companion to the Duchess’s petulant niece. Though his presence makes life in the Jewel a bit brighter, the consequences of their illicit relationship will cost them both more than they bargained for.
I cannot wait  to read this book! I've seen an equal number of good and bad reviews, most of them mention the romance aspect of the novel being subpar, but that just makes me want to read this even more. So I can make my own judgement on it.

This is the first book in The Lone City  series by Amy Ewing. If anyone would like to purchase the book just click on one of the links listed below:

Happy Release Day! Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

From the glittering streets of Manhattan to the moonlit rooftops of Paris, falling in love is easy for hopeless dreamer Isla and introspective artist Josh. But as they begin their senior year in France, Isla and Josh are quickly forced to confront the heartbreaking reality that happily-ever-afters aren’t always forever.
Their romantic journey is skillfully intertwined with those of beloved couples Anna and Étienne and Lola and Cricket, whose paths are destined to collide in a sweeping finale certain to please fans old and new.

This is the third book in the Anna and the French Kiss series, I've only read the first book, Anna and the French Kiss but I can't wait to get my hands on the 2nd, Lola and the Boy Next Door and this final book! Anna's story was damn adorable and I just know the other two in this series will live up to the high expectations set by the first.
If the other two guys are as cute as Etienne then we're gonna have no problem. No problem at all!

If you haven't started these books yet then you definitely should, especially if you're in the mood for some light-hearted chick lit with witty inner-dialogue from Anna. I related a helluva lot to this character!
